1. Agreement

By downloading or using Ticker ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Open source: Ticker is free and open source under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute it on any number of Macs, for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the terms of the MIT License included with the source.

3. Support

Ticker is free — there is nothing to purchase. If you find it useful, you can optionally support development by buying me a coffee. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable, and grant no additional rights or guarantees.

4. Updates

Updates are released for free. Current functionality will continue to work regardless of future releases.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Use the App to violate any applicable laws
  • Remove or alter the copyright and license notices required by the MIT License

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Ticker is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed meetings, lost data, or business interruption.

8. Open Source License

Ticker's source code is released under the MIT License. Your use of the source is governed by that license, which is included with the code. The website and downloads are provided on the same "as is" basis described above.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
