Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Ticker ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App and this website are provided by Ticker. You can reach us at support@gettickerapp.com.

2. License Grant

Ticker is proprietary software. The free tier may be used on any Mac at no cost. Buying Pro grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Ticker Pro on Macs you own or control. Quarterly access renews every three months until cancelled. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase. Lifetime purchases made before subscriptions retain their original terms.

3. Subscriptions and renewals

Pro purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles payment, applicable taxes, and invoicing. Purchases are linked to your Google identity.

The quarterly plan costs USD 9.99, taxes included where shown at checkout, and renews automatically every three months until you cancel. Cancel any time from Ticker → Settings → Manage billing, or from the Dodo customer portal. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for.

The 7-day trial needs no card and never turns into a charge by itself. Lifetime is a one-time payment. If you upgrade from the quarterly plan to lifetime, the subscription stops at its next billing date. Prices can change, and we will tell you before a new price applies to your next renewal.

4. Refunds

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. If something went wrong with a charge, email support@gettickerapp.com and we will sort it out with Dodo. Refunds are decided case by case. A refunded purchase loses its Pro access. Statutory withdrawal rights, such as the 14-day right in the EU and the UK, are not affected by this section.

5. Trial and access

The no-card trial lasts seven days from the first successful calendar connection, once per Mac, and needs no account. Signing in with Google during the trial keeps its remaining days. Afterwards, free access includes the menu-bar countdown and today’s read-only events and meeting links from one account. Pro access needs online verification at least every 72 hours and cannot extend beyond a trial or paid period.

6. Restrictions

You may not:

• Use the App to violate any applicable laws
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your Ticker account or purchase
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the checks that verify your Ticker account or purchase

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Ticker is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use at your own risk. The website and downloads are provided on the same basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed meetings, lost data, or business interruption.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have jurisdiction over disputes about them. This does not remove any consumer protections that apply where you live.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
